KUALA LUMPUR – The investigation paper on the helicopter delivery of nasi ganja recently has been completed and submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC).

Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid told an English daily that statements were taken from five individuals, including owners of the aircraft and eatery.

“We leave it to the AGC to undertake the next course of action,” he told reporters at the Stadium Indera Mulia vaccination centre in Ipoh today.

On July 23, it was reported that a helicopter landed at Padang Ipoh to pick up 36 packets of nasi ganja booked by a customer from Kuala Lumpur.

Mior Faridalathrash earlier said checks with the Ipoh Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia showed that the helicopter was allowed to land only at Sultan Azlan Shah Airport.

However, it landed at Padang Ipoh to pick up the order, sparking debate among netizens on a possible breach of lockdown standard operating procedures. – Bernama, August 1, 2021
